Ninja Turtles IV: The Next Mutation is the fourth live-action TMNT film. It takes place before the 2007 film TMNT. It introduces the fifth turtle, Kirby.

Plot Synopsis
The turtles discover shocking secrets as a change in their DNA triggers new mutations and hidden powers. Things get more complicated when a new turtle Kirby arrives. Meanwhile, the Shredder is back and working with an evil warlord from Dimension X named Krang, and his army of Triceraton soldiers. In the end, Krang opens a black hole to destroy Earth, and Kirby sacrifices himself to close it, which triggers a huge explosion that separates the four remaining turtles, seemingly forever.
